How to use
- Measure 1-1 1/2 tsp of mask powder into a small, non-metal mixing bowl. Add enough blending elixir to make a paste. A few suggestions for a blending elixir include cucumber infused water, aloe vera juice, a floral water, or purified water. If the mask paste seems too thin, add a bit more mask poweder until you get the desired consistency.
- If you've purchased one of our face oils, follow its directions and start with a fresh face. The face oils and addictives prepare your skin and help the clay mask properties deeply penetrate the layers of your skin.
- Apply your clay facial using a makeup brush or your fingers. For a sensory experience, follow the steps in our Sensory Masking guide.
- Once applied and for proper masks using Earth clays, time SHOULD NOT exceed 10-mins. This is the leading cause, and mass misconception regarding clay masks. Allowing your mask to remain until it tightens results in excessive stripping of natural oils, dry skin and sometimes irritation.
- Remove your mask using a warm, damp hand towel. For a unique experience, spritz your face with your favorite toner before removing. You can also spritz your hand towel with a hydrosol before removing.
- After the clay mask has been removed, rinse your face thoroughly with lukewarm water. Immediately after, HYDRATE AND MOISTURIZE. We recommend our Nourishing Care Cream. It's intensely hydrating and moisturizing. Most effective if masking and applied before bedtime.

Rhassoul clay is mined in the fertile Atlas Mountains of Morocco and has been used for over 12 centuries. The word "rhassoul" in Arabic means "to wash". Moroccan women have long used this clay as a beauty treatment for their skin and hair. The Amazigh people, indigenous to Morocco, were one of the first to utilize various plants and herbal mixtures as beauty remedies and cosmetics. When the Arabs arrived, the fusion of these two cultures gave way to natural beauty treatments that promote healthy, glowing skin.
Camu-Camu is native to the Amazonian rainforest, and contains approximately 30 times more vitamin C than oranges. Vitamin C is required for cellular growth and repair, and is also essential for collagen formation.
Ginger when combined with honey, another natural antibacterial and anti-fungal ingredient, they prove to be a potent acne-fighting team. Add about 1 tsp of honey to your Moroccan Clarity facial. You can also mix ginger juice and honey together and apply the mixture to the skin.
